If a tablet is not picking up HRMs, the issue is likely due to the Wi-Fi settings of the tablet.
1. Make sure the tablet is connected to the OTconnect Wi-Fi network
- Swipe down from the top of the screen twice and then tap the Wi-Fi dropdown menu to Select the OTBEAT network
2. Even if the OTconnect network is already connected, make sure it is the only Wi-Fi network that is saved.
- In the Wi-Fi dropdown list tap "see more"
- If any other network (OTFCorp, OTFguest, etc.) has "saved" under it, hold it down in the list and select "forget". This way the tablet won't switch networks.
3. If only a specific member's HRM is not being detected, it might be an indication of an issue with their HRM or profile.
- If the member is showing up on the TV but not the tablet, ask the member to turn off their HRM until their name drops off the TV. Afterwards, turn it back on and they should appear on both.
- On the tablet, tap More to see the full list of members and search the list for the member's name. If the name isn't on the list, please create a ticket with corporate IT at otf.zendesk.com explaining the issue and they will be able to assist you further.
